This well established local bank branch was a challenging project due to the many contextual constraints. The brief was to transform the appearance and functioning to align with AIB’s new retail banking model. The re-imagined building took advantage of existing structures to enhance the main public space. The bank remained open throughout all phases of development. The sensitive redevelopment of this conservation building has led to an increase in client footfall, enhanced administrative areas and renewed focus on this retail outlet in the local community.
