The new engineering school building is located within the remodelled former Philips lighting factory at the northern edge of the Belfield campus. A feasibility report and sustainability assessment led to extensive refurbishment and adaptive reuse of the former industrial complex. The next phase will see the addition of a library and restaurant to serve the School and the nearby Schools of Architecture and Town Planning.
